Search Engine Marketing
MH1 Web Design can help you get results by registering your new or
existing website with top search engines like Google, Yahoo, AOL, Alta
Vista and MSN.
Basic Website Optimization and Submission is included with every website we
create. However, some clients need additional marketing with Google or Yahoo.
Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
Already have a website but it doesn't show up in the popular search engines? MH1 will review your current website and recommend changes so your site is properly optimized for search engine crawler software. We'll also submit your site after changes so you appear in the most important engines.

Search Engine Advertising - Pay-per-click
Also called 'paid placement' advertising, this strategy lets you bid on keywords
describing your company's goods or services. You pay only for each “click-thru” to
your website, called cost-per-click (CPC). The more your bid, the higher your
listing appears among the other paid listings. The CPC rate can be as low as 10-
25 cents depending on your industry and keywords.
MH1 can manage these paid placement programs for you for a $249 set-up fee.
The two leading search engines each have their own paid-placement systems
described below.
Google AdWords
MH1 crafts your own keyword campaign and you choose how much you'll bid for
each visit to your site (called a click-thru). Track results and adjust keywords and
CPC bid in real-time. Ads appear on Google, Ask Network, AOL & EarthLink. Pay
with credit card.
Google AdWords offers you:
- Targeted reach - Now you can advertise to people searching on Google.
Even if you already appear in Google's search results, AdWords can help
you target new audiences on Google and our advertising network.
- Greater control - You can edit your ads and adjust your budget until you
get the results you want. You can also display a variety of ad formats and
even target your ads to specific languages and geographic locations.
- Measurable value - There's no minimum spending requirement or time
commitment. And with the cost-per-click option, you're only charged if
people click your ads. This means every dollar of your budget goes toward
bringing new prospects to you.
MH1 set-up fee $249 + monthly cost of campaign.

Yahoo! Sponsored Search
Yahoo! Sponsored Search is a form of search
engine marketing that lets you create ads that
appear in search results on the Web's most
popular destination and other sites in the
Yahoo! distribution network. So you can attract
people who are already searching for what you
sell.
MH1 manages your Yahoo! Sponsored Search
campaign the same as Google AdWords.
Requires credit card.
MH1 set-up fee $249 + monthly cost of campaign.
